Gucci's new pop-up sneaker store.

Luxury brand Gucci has announced the opening of a pop-up sneaker store especially to launch their limited edition Gucci Ronson sneakers. These sneakers have been designed in collaboration with Mark Ronson, the well-known music mogul who has produced a string of hit records for artists such as Lily Allen and Amy Winehouse. Mark’s sister Charlotte is also a designer, so he appears to be taking a leaf out of her book!

The so-called Gucci Icon-Temporary flash store that was designed by Frida Giannini will be hitting the road in October and will be opened for two week stints in six locations, staring with New York on October 23rd. It will then travel to London, Berlin, Paris, Hong Kong and Tokyo, and for each location a limited edition Gucci Ronson sneaker will be introduced. Every customer buying the sneakers from these stores will also receive a custom twelve inch vinyl record featuring exclusive tracks that have been produced by Mark Ronson, as a great goodwill gift to go with the Gucci Ronson sneaker.

The range will feature eighteen styles in total; sixteen for men and two for women, and each will incorporate the classic Gucci design features like the GG logo and a stylised version of the now iconic green and red web detail. They will also come with gold or silver metal dog tags, with customers given an option of buying leather dog tags that have been customised with their initials, for the laces. It has been rumoured that each pair of sneakers will retail for between $500 and $600.

"Rio de Janeiro" is the main theme of the collection decorated with vivid images of the unbridled Brazilian joy, as well as catchy colors of fabrics. Casual wear, thanks to the kind of basic clothing has become more restrained and sustained mainly in the classical style. Thus, the economic realities of 70's sets of clothes were mediated uniforms for the public. In the modern interpretation of a set of clothing, it is formed by using various clothing items, aged in a single color and style solution. For example, you can wear a nylon jacket with overhead pockets, cotton shirt and pants with narrow louferami or kedami.

Of course, all accessories - bags, jewelery, must be the same color as the other elements of the ensemble. In Gucci's case its white. As for Gucci's outerwear, the designer suggested knitted pullovers with geometric patterns, and different kinds of short jackets. The present Gucci collection of accessories are represented by massive bags of python skin, crocodile and ostrich.
